Another ‘buy-my-house’ Loaf

My wife asked for bread as she has an odd craving for sandwiches. We happened to have some potential buyers seeing our place this evening [which has been happening once or twice a day lately]. So out comes the bread. Again. This place had better sell or we’re gonna put on some pounds from the carb-fest. As previously admitted, baking bread prior to prospective buyers viewing your place is a little cheese-ball, but let’s face it, it smells good, and the heat from the warm oven and that smell just plain make one happy. It’s a fact.

This boule, my wife’s favorite loaf shape [I’m a baguette guy], is using my usual standby recipe that I’ve posted about here. This is a double-batch-boule. And I’m still using Engedura yeast, which has a strikingly unusual ‘grape’ flavor. Odd, I know. It also is a more prominent yeast flavor than I’m used to. So if yeasty grape vibe is what you want, seek out this yeast. If you like ‘plain’, stick with more commercially mass produced brands. I’m on the fence. My wife likes the Engedura…

I have my Aunt’s recipe which requires it.
    thanks
